George Salter Collegiate Academy - Kenrick
Kenrick is home to five departments: English, Modern Foreign Languages, Drama, Dance and Music. As such, the House is extremely proud of its reputation for staging quality performing arts productions.
Over 300 different pupils have performed in front of an audience this year; we think few schools could boast that over a third of their school population have appeared on stage during the course of an academic year.
Kenrick has always prided itself on providing sensitive and supportive pastoral care. All of the form tutors in the House, led by the head of House and Pastoral Manager, know their pupils well and relations between tutors and children are warm and positive. Kenrick's ethos relating to pastoral care is simple: we will always endeavour to treat your child as we would wish our own children to be treated.
Past Performances include:
- Oliver (involving the whole of Year 7)
- Grease
- Simply the Best (a Gifted and Talented showcase)
- The Christmas Pantomime
- Christmas concerts
- BTEC performances in Year 10 and 11
