Biology

A Level

GCE Biology is about connecting how living organisms function, survive, adapt and overcome disease. The course covers the principles of Biology such as cells, organ systems and the way these interact in real life. Students can expect to enhance and develop practical skills in coordination with their knowledge of subject material.

Entry requirements

At least grades 5/5 AQA Science Trilogy or grade 5 in Biology

An A Level in Biology can lead to careers in medicine, veterinary sciences, pharmacy, ecology, teaching, nursing, midwifery, medical research, forensic science, accountancy, academic research, dentistry, nutrition and many others.
